There is a beautiful garden at the back with a series of terraces going up the hill behind the cottage. The view down to the sea is fabulous. There is a wooden deck up near the top with a table and benches for picnics.
Up at the very back of the garden there is a gate up onto the hillside and a 20 minute walk takes you to the top of the hill and spectacular views, which are shown in some of the photos. Other photos are from different walks of varying difficulties in the area, all of which can be easily completed within a day.
The hills in the Assynt offer spectacular ascents and very rewarding views from the top.
